Getting Started

Follow these steps to start integrating with our API:

  1. Register for a FileType:PDF Developer Account
  2. Create an API key from your developer dashboard
  3. Install the SDK (optional) or use direct REST API calls
  4. Read through our documentation to find the endpoints you need

Authentication

All API requests require authentication using your API key. Include your API key in the header of each request:

API Rate Limits

Our API limits are determined by your subscription plan:

  • Developer Plan: 100 requests/day, max file size 10MB
  • Business Plan: 1,000 requests/day, max file size 50MB
  • Enterprise Plan: Custom limits based on your needs

Key Endpoints

POST/v1/convert/{conversion-type}

Convert documents between different formats, such as PDF to Word, Excel to PDF, etc.

Merge multiple PDF documents into a single PDF file.
